Google Splashes Into Social Networking With Orkut
Orkut only accepts people who are invited by someone already on the Orkut network. After you have been accepted you are able to see profiles of the person who invited you and their friends. Orkut gives you the option to limit who can view which parts of your personal information, such as e-mail addresses or IM names.
